Ingredients (2 burgers):

  • 2 4 oz. ground beef patties (80/20 preferred)

  • 6 oz. ramen noodles

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp. miso paste

  • 2 slices white American cheese

  • 1/2 cup arugula

  • 2 tbsp. teriyaki sauce

  • 2 tbsp. chopped scallions

  • 2 tbsp. sesame oil

  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce

Directions:

  1. Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add noodles and cook for 2-3 minutes. Strain and place in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk 2 eggs and add to the bowl with the noodles. Mix well.

  2. In a frying pan over medium-high heat, place a round cookie cutter (about 3-4 inches in diameter) on the pan. Add sesame oil (you can use olive oil instead) and sauté until noodles are golden brown in color. Remove the cookie cutter from the pan once the noodles are able to hold the round shape and flip the noodle bun. Sauté until golden brown and repeat for the other ramen buns.

  3. Season the ground beef patties with salt and pepper. Cook the patties on medium-high heat for about 3 minutes per side. Splash each side with some soy sauce before flipping.

  4. Once the patties are finished cooking, spread the miso paste on top of each before placing the white American cheese on top. Finish assembling your burger with arugula, teriyaki sauce and scallions and serve!
